Newcastle based Savannah lifestylesalonspa has branched out with a new addition to the city’s thriving café culture scene – Chalk & Paper – an expansion of the bustling Aveda lifestyle salon.
There is function space on-site, as well as Chakra Rooms which can be hired for special corporate events or group parties. They provide delicious lunches and refreshments for bookings. With its stripped back design, exposed brick work and bold furniture, the café offers free wi-fi to customers and boasts a NEW CAFE SPACE feature 16ft sharing table, alongside smaller tables, providing an informal and relaxed environment perfect for catching up with friends or for meeting up with clients.
With over 36 flavours of the renowned health-enhancing Suki tea and other speciality refreshments, Chalk & Paper’s menu is extensive. Associate partner and Café Manager James Griggs said: ‘Chalk & Paper is all about making people feel good on the inside. Our mantra is food that loves you back so all our produce is freshly prepared, with our menu including breakfast options such as granola and fresh fruit salad, and homemade soups, salads and pasta for lunchtimes – with a few naughty but nice cupcakes and pastries in there for good measure too.’
