NORTH EAST RESTAURANT PUT FAMILY FUN ON THE SUNDAY LUNCH MENU
A talking dragon is one of the many things helping a North East’s leading restaurant put family fun on their Sunday lunch menu.
Prima on Newcastle’s quayside, have launched a programme of free children’s entertainment every Sunday afternoon from 1pm until 3pm, in a bid to make family lunches more of an experience for visitors of all ages.
The entertainment on offer will change on a weekly basis, from magicians and face painting, to appearances by a mechanical dragon that can seemingly communicate with children.
It can all be enjoyed for free by anyone dining at either restaurant on a Sunday afternoon at Prima serving a mix of Italian-inspired and traditional English dishes throughout the day.
This includes a selection of starters such as soup or buffalo mozzarella, mains of a traditional roast with a selection of meats or a fish alternative and a choice of desserts including cheesecake and crème brulee.
Sunday Lunch is currently served weekly at Prima from 11.30am until 5pm, with free family entertainment running between 1pm and 3pm. Food is priced at £9.95 per adult for one course, £12.95 for two courses and £15.95 for three courses, with children’s prices starting from £4.95.
