Newcastle City Centre is Alive After Five. From 25th October, Newcastle City Centre is going to be even better with 1000s of free parking spaces from 5pm. Check out our Alive After Five car parking map for the list of participating car parks.

With thousands of spaces available and easy access from all directions, Newcastle is a driver-friendly city. Check out our parking guide below to get some ideas of the best ways to enter the city and to find out where to leave your car.
Facilities are available for cyclists and motorcyclists within the city centre including spaces in Eldon Garden and Eldon Square with lockable cycle and motorcycle stands and convenient lockers are available to store helmets
For added convenience and choice cashless parking is available in both Eldon car parks. Signage is located next to the tariff boards to tell you how to register to use this service.

If you’ve not decided on how you will be getting to the match, have you thought about sharing a car with another supporter? And if you have empty space in your car, why not make this space work for you?
By picking up someone else going the same way as you, you could share the cost of the journey, plus if you are both going to the same match you will have someone readily available to discuss the referee’s bad decision, the offside calls and your team’s performance.
If you sign up to the scheme at www.altoonativecarsharing.com you could even win a pair of tickets for the Newcastle vs. Chelsea game.
Car sharing is just one of the many options available to you and you can get more information on alternative ways to get to the match by visiting www.altoonativetravel.com
